Lorella Springs Wilderness Park is a one-million acre cattle station surrounded by the Limmen National Park, Aboriginal land, and many kilometres of pristine Northern Territory Gulf of Carpentaria coastline, rivers and waterways, located in one of the remotest and most isolated areas of Australia.
Our tour will set off from Darwin with an overnight stop at Munbililla (Tomato Island) in the Limmen National Park before getting to Lorella Springs. We will then camp the homestead before embarking on 3-day rides around the station visiting some of the more spectacular locations and attractions on offer. There will be opportunities for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the fresh-water swimming holes, dropping a line in at some of the best fishing spots and exploring this beautiful area.
The roads inside the station are sandy in part – so this is the perfect opportunity to practice your sand riding skills or get some coaching (or if you want, you can hop in the support vehicle for an easy comfortable ride )
Will then stop overnight at the Mataranka Homestead on the way back to Darwin
This is a fully supported tour with lead rider, sweep rider and support vehicle and trailer. It is all inclusive (fuel, meals and accomodation) at 650 pp per day for the 7 days.
